The History of Northeast Plumbing Specialties
Northeast Plumbing Parts and Specialties is 28 years old and was founded by Herbert Kirshner & Wayne Reed to sell directly to the management companies that own and/or manage apartment complexes such as rentals, coops and condos, office and institutional buildings. We are active in the following organizations.
NYARM, ABO, Friends of IREM N.Y., IREM N.J.
Scandinavian, American Building Manager Guild, Manhattan Residential Manager, N.J.A.A., BOMA N.J., CHIP, and REBNY.
NEP participates in the NYARM and ABO Building's N.Y. Trade Shows each year.
We have received a Special Recognition Award from Buildings N.Y. in 1995.
NYARM named Wayne, associate member of the year, 1993. As well as Outstanding Patron of the year, 1998.
Wayne was an advisor to the Guild in 1989, and received a place on the Guild Honor Roll and was named Associate of the Year 1990
Wayne was on the Board of Directors of NYARM for the past 7 years. He is co-chairman of the Annual Trade Show, The Fantastic Holiday Party and the Annual Golf Outing.
Wayne is an active participant during the Holiday Season at the NYARM childrens charity for the AHRC, Blue Feather Home, Little Sisters of the Poor and N.Y. Child Learning Institute.
